About Mrs. Walvoord

My name is Chris Walvoord and I am your child's teacher this year.  I am always excited to meet new students, their parents and their families.  My husband and I live near Plymouth and  have three children, four grandchildren and one cat. In my free time I enjoy reading, gardening, hiking, camping, anything in nature and spending time with my family.  I have been happily teaching second grade in the Plymouth District for 23 years. I have many exciting learning experiences planned for the year and look forward to each new day of learning and fun. It is my goal to have every child experience success in school and  to develop a true love of learning. I encourage you to keep in touch throughout the year and contact me at any time if you have any questions or concerns regarding your child.
